AH the life of the university student.....a.ka. me and all the rest of you (you know who you are) out there. I felt like i should really write on this silly webpage....sure no one reads it, but i should at least try to post something. Also as a first year student i should always be in pursuit of new procrastination techniques, and posting something on my website seems like a plan. So what has happened since this summer, when i last posted? I turned 18 which would be exicting had I lived in Alberta. And I worked, and attended the fall fair as per usual. As well I started university, UBC is the place to be and it's right by the sea (rhyming, hehe). It's weird already being here, it seems like yesterday I was walking through the mismatched halls of SPSS, and now there is one more week of class before finals. I only have one final, thanks to arts one and geography being one year classes...I am such a slacker. Besides school though...I live in this place called 5th Shuswap in Totem Park, go REDS (not any affliation with the colour of the UBC engineers, cause bigger is better arts kicks ass....i am going to get hassled for the preceeding comment). Life here is interesting to say the least I could write for hours about how the last 3 months have been, but I shall try to some it up in a few headings:

-'The English' are hilarious (even more so when in groups and trying to skate).
-Roomates are great when they are Kate, (p.s. what's with the peanuts and milk, and bowls of cottage cheese)?
-Katie (not Kate mentioned above) is cute and fairy-like, even though she won't admit to it because she hates being called cute.
-U-Passes are great for random shopping impluses after classes
-The import, and the jock are the queens of Buckingham.
-Glouberman is the king of the one shirt a week-ness....(its still gross, eww)
-Regular movie watching is necessary.

more to come.....

So yeah its been like forever and a day since I posted anything new. A whole school year has been had and I am older, gosh almost 18, july 16th baby. So much has happened, to me, to my friends, to the world...or I think a lot has happened. Alrighty, so what has happened since I last told the world (yeah the internet isn't the whole world, since not everyone has it, but it is called the worldwideweb, eh....yes eh I am canadian by birth right...i am really off track..back to what i was saying) what's on my mind? A lot really happened to me. I went to the T dot (a weird thing to call Toronto in my honest opinion) in October of last year, we had christmas, then I went to Vancouver in March for spring break....the rest of the time was spent completing the Grade 12 in Dawson Creek, working the coffee/donut industry as a Timmy ho (I really need to get a new job), how exicting. Also GRAD 2003 happened recently, which really was all it was cracked up to be, who knew?

Grad was great some advice to future SPSS, and other high school grads:
1. females were flat shoes, heels look great, but they also hurt like a bitch after a night of dancing and standing for pictures
2. males learn how to dance the spaztic seisuresque movements are memorable, but the ladies like men who can dance....wait it doesn't really matter if you learn who to dance as long as you actually dance with the girl you bring instead of making excuses....dancing even bad dancing is good fun.
3. for both sexes, never underestimate the power of a certain clear, judgement clouding, amusing liquid beverage. Because it my cause you to do and say things that are funny, but quite embarassing (i am thinking of fountains, angels, gravel and stairs....yes you should be confused I am rambling)

Continuing on so I am out of school and set up to have a great summer....lets just hope my parents really to take there little vacation in a few...then off the UBC...I think i may start actually writing in this so-called blog*spot more often....oh well. It's getting a little late...so it's time to be bookin' em danno....
